AI isn’t necessarily leading us to the best people.
It’s leading us to the easiest people to recognize.
Whether it’s Google, ChatGPT, or another AI system, they all begin with what’s explicit. They look for clear categories, familiar language, established authority, and patterns they can confidently identify.
They don’t naturally recognize originality.
They recognize signals.
Which means some of the most thoughtful coaches, consultants, writers, craftspeople, and professionals can remain almost invisible... not because their work isn’t exceptional, but because they’ve built something that doesn’t fit neatly into existing labels.
That’s an important distinction.
The people who are easiest to find are not always the people worth finding.
And the people worth finding often require a little more curiosity than a search box can provide.
